CHICAGO (July 8, 2014) – Ted Pecora, a longtime friend and supporter of the NIASHF, has qualified for the United States Senior Open, which takes place at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Oklahoma. Ted, a past Chairman of the NIASHF’s annual Tommy Lasorda Golf Outing is a resident of Glencoe, IL. He qualified for the prestigious USGA tournament as an amateur and everyone associated with NIASHF will be cheering for Ted in recognition of his extraordinary accomplishment.
The US Senior Open begins on Thursday, July 10th, and the first tee off begins at 7:15 AM. Ted tees off on Thursday at 9:15 AM, and on Friday at 2:55 PM. The National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame congratulates its dear friend on his qualification, and wishes him the best of luck in the coming tournament. Go Teddy!
